I have listed a new property at DL 86 & 325 Cls.
Two contiguous properties in the Great Bear Rainforest, on the central BC coast, 15km southwest of Bella Coola. 320 acres with a gentle topography ranging from 90 to 400 metres in elevation. Several year-round streams, a large alluvial fan which provides gravel and rock, three developed gravel quarries, 4.2km of internal roads. Access to the property is by boat from Bella Coola to an anchorage location approx. 15km southwest and then 1.5km via Forest Service road through adjacent Crown land that connects to a road network on the acreage. Forest cover includes 90 ha. recent logging, 26 ha. 2001 logging and 12 ha. of mixed immature, second growth and old growth containing roughly 3000 m3. The property is frequented by local wildlife, including deer and both black and grizzly bear. Bella Coola is accessible by vehicle along Hwy 20, by BC ferry from Port Hardy or Bella Bella orby air and offers fuel, lodgings, shopping, essential services and boat launch facilities.
