I have listed a new property at DL 1101&1106 Cls.
Forested 313acres in two contiguous titles, straddling the Salloomt River in the picturesque central coast region of BC. The community of Hagensborg is approx. 10 km to the south and near Bella Coola. Topography ranges from gentle benches to steeper mountainsides, with elevations from 160 metres above sea level to 430 metres. 2 large creeks enter the property from the west, both have bridges for crossing. Both titles straddle the scenic Salloomt River for 1.6km, a substantial freshwater system that includes a spectacular canyon. There is good road access via Forest Service road and an internal road network from previous logging which could be reactivated. The properties are heavily timbered, predominantly with second growth forest following 1960 logging with some old growth. A smaller portion was harvested in 1989 and is in a good state of regrowth. There was a timber cruise completed in 2010. The property is frequented by local wildlife, including deer and both black and grizzly bear.
