Long time Cortes Island resident Martha Abelson brings her skills as an educator, researcher, and her knowledge and love of the people and the land to the task of helping you to buy or sell your special place, home or business. Martha first came to Cortes in 1971 and has lived here for more than 30 years. She founded the North Island College learning center, co-founded the Cortes Forest Society in the late 80’s, is a past board member of Hollyhock Retreat Centre, and currently President of the Cortes Island Business and Tourism, a committee of Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to assisting you in finding your special place on Cortes Island, Quadra Island, and other Discovery Islands.
