Danny Tran grew up on Sointula, where his family foraged for salal to sell. Over the years, he has called Abbotsford, Surrey, and Courtenay home before earning his diploma in Computer Systems Technology from BCIT.

He spent nearly a decade between White Spot Restaurants and SAP Canada, a Fortune 500 company, where he built a foundation in leadership, problem-solving, and software development. At SAP, Danny mentored new talent through the Early Talent Ambassador program and participated in several innovation hackathons, developing AI tools designed to enhance the customer experience.

Danny also plays an active role in his family’s successful oyster farm in Union Bay, where he’s contributed to building and growing the business. That hands-on experience has given him a deep appreciation for hard work, sustainability, and local entrepreneurship.

Now proud to call Campbell River home, Danny has found everything he once dreamed of: fishing in the river, exploring the forests for mushrooms, woodworking, and enjoying time on the local basketball courts. Beyond his love for the outdoors, he’s a devoted husband and father of two boys, which fuels his commitment to helping families find the right place to call home.

Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Danny enjoys connecting with people from all backgrounds and making every client feel understood and supported. After years in the tech world, he realized that his greatest satisfaction comes from connecting with people and making a difference in their lives.
